Looks like a bag o shit to me... actually no... it looks like a crap barrow!

Still.. this is the one piece of group kit that I would like to see...even if for just carrying wood.

Don't do it it's sh!te.

I know you guys asked Steve years ago if he could do you one and he sort of said he might but didn't. The main reason - while we were in the UK was sourcing the right shape wood for the handles. There is every possibility we can source something suitable more easily here.

I'm not sure if he still has the wheel hub - if he has then he might be able to make one over the winter, if you're still interested (I understand if you're not;)) let me know...

For those of you that don't know the style Steve made - it's the barrow that's in use by the York City Levy - the style was copied from 15th C illustrations.

Tried to look for a picture of the Levy barrow to post here but couldn't find one.

The Levy barrow is excellent, made of solid wood and one of the most indispensible items of kit in the group.  It is used for fetching wood, carrying kit at awkward sites such as Warwick where cars can't go on the grass and also doubles as a plate drying rack  Smiley.  It has also been used to ferry around disabled pilgrims at abbeys where they are seeking a cure.

Absolutely indispensible and highly recommended as a piece of kit. Thumbs Up

The only place you can put pictures (to my knowledge) is in the gallery

Well  Darren did try to order one from Steve about three years ago and he wasn't able to source the right shaped timber before we left the UK.

If you are interested he's prepared to do it now - we have the time, space and resources...

Just take it through your normal channels and if you want to place an order get the group to send me a private message or and email.
