A cup, or tankard, is very useful during an event. Again, either wood or pottery is good, pewter tankards are also possible (and very expensive), but they must be bow sided and we try to keep the numbers down. Basic wooden beakers or staved tankards also existed, as did leather tankards sealed with pitch as found on the Mary Rose.
Larger jugs are also available too, and many families prefer to have their own in their tents.
